Covers the basics
It covers the basics of opening .msg files to retrieve their text and attachments.
On the positive side, I am glad there is such an app—it is baffling that Mac version of Outlook cannot read files created on the Windows version of Outlook.
On the negative side:
- There is significant loss of fidelity of formatting. For instance, messages received in HTML with images and tables and saved as .msg, when opened in MailRider Pro, do not display most of their original formatting
- It lacks integration with Mail or Outlook, which competing apps offer
- It lacks a feature to create files associations from MailRider Pro—I had to do that myself, which leaves me with a meaningless icon
